Meet our Birth Mother Mentors
Meet Lauren
I’m Lauren. I made an adoption plan for my son in 2017 and chose the open adoption path. I enjoy spending time with him and his adoptive family.
Watching him grow is a wonderful gift and I am forever grateful! I believe it is my calling to support my fellow birth mothers. I love public speaking, my two dogs and tending to my houseplants. When I’m not jamming out to the Hamilton soundtrack you can find me hiking with my pups or volunteering with youth in the Gem County community.
Meet Hannah
My name is Hannah and my girl that I placed for adoption is almost 9 years old. Her family and I have a beautiful, open relationship.I am currently a nurse. Some of my hobbies are playing guitar, doing pastel art, and outdoor activities. I am passionate about being a mentor because I want to support and help other girls get through what I went through. My goal is for them to know they are worth being loved, and that they are displaying such strength, courage, and selfless love through adoption.

Frequently Asked Questions about an unplanned pregnancy
I’m pregnant and scared. What should I do?
If you are pregnant and scared, you are not alone. You can speak confidentially with a licensed social worker who will listen, answer your questions, and help you understand your options without pressure. Free pregnancy support is available in Boise and throughout Idaho.
I’m pregnant and don’t know what to do. Can someone help me?
Yes. If you are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy in Idaho and feel unsure, you can talk privately with a licensed nonprofit agency professional. We provide free, confidential pregnancy options counseling so you can think clearly and safely.
I’m pregnant and can’t afford a baby. What are my options in Idaho?
If you are pregnant and worried about money, support may be available. We help connect women in Idaho with trusted community resources, explain parenting and adoption options, and provide confidential counseling at no cost.
I’m pregnant and alone. Who can I talk to in Boise?
We are here for you. You can speak confidentially with a licensed Idaho social worker who provides pregnancy support without judgment. You do not need to tell family or a partner before reaching out for help.
Is it too early to ask for pregnancy help?
No. Whether you just found out you are pregnant or are further along, you can seek confidential pregnancy counseling at any time. Early support can help you feel more stable and informed.
Do I have to decide right away?
No. You do not have to make an immediate decision about your pregnancy. Many women take time to explore their options before choosing what feels right. You deserve to make an educated decision.
What kind of help do you provide if I’m pregnant?
We provide free pregnancy options counseling, emotional support, and guidance about parenting and adoption. While we do not provide medical care directly, we help connect you with appropriate community services and community resources near you.
Is this confidential? Will anyone find out?
Yes. Conversations with our licensed professionals are confidential. Reaching out does not commit you to a decision and does not obligate you to tell anyone until you are ready.
Do I have to tell the father if I’m considering adoption?
Idaho law addresses parental rights carefully. Every situation is different. A licensed professional can explain how the law applies to your situation and ensure you understand your rights and options.
