Born and raised in Nigeria, Joy studied biology and education at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria before moving to the United States. Joy has always wanted to work with kids and family which is why she became a certified peer support specialist at A New beginning. Joy is currently working on her youth endorsement certification so that she can work with youth full time and facilitate cultural programs at the agency.
Joy currently lives in Boise, Idaho. She enjoys cooking, reading and playing games with family. In her off time, Joy likes to reconnect with family and friends in Nigeria.
