On March 21st, 2024, Governor Little signed Senate Bill 1308. This bill will go into effect on July 1, 2024 and requires all schools that have a Family Life or Sex Education program to include information on adoption for the well-being of a child. Although the legislation places the burden of cost/buying curriculum onto the school district, A New Beginning Adoption Agency, Idaho’s largest adoption agency, has already been providing this education in schools around Idaho for over 13 years, free of charge.  We are available to teach at schools all around the state either virtually or in person, and are happy to work with teachers to schedule a time that works for their class. We have an age appropriate curriculum for children in elementary, middle, and high school.

On May 7 at 3:30 p.m. MST and June 4 at 10 a.m. MST we will be providing a virtual informational meeting for Superintendents, Principals, and Educators from school districts across the state, who would like more information about what we teach and how we can help you meet the requirements set forth in this bill.
