Joy Williams, BSc, Program Specialist
Joy joined A New Beginning in 2022 and serves as a Program Specialist, supporting multiple programs across the agency. Her work includes conducting social investigations, assisting with the foster adopt program, leading informational seminars, and facilitating YANA (You Are Not Alone), a support group for youth.
Joy works closely with both families and youth, helping create safe, supportive spaces where individuals feel heard and respected. She brings a calm, thoughtful approach to each interaction, helping people navigate challenges while building confidence and connection.
Before joining the agency, Joy earned degrees in Biology, Education, and Counseling Psychology, and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Her diverse background strengthens her ability to support individuals and families through complex and emotional life transitions.
Joy is especially passionate about supporting youth and believes that consistent guidance and a safe environment can make a lasting impact. Whether she is leading a seminar, facilitating a group, or working one-on-one, her focus remains the same: helping individuals move toward greater stability, connection, and growth.
