After being a stay-at-home mom for 10 years and graduating with my Bachelor’s in Human Services in 2021, I began my career working with families. Living in Virginia, I was a Service Coordinator for the Infant Toddler program, working alongside families with developmentally delayed or medically complex children from 0-3. This gave me such a heart for being in homes with families and reaching parents in the early stages of parenthood to come alongside them and help them see their own potential as a parent and watch their children reach milestones.
My family and I moved to Idaho after my husband received military orders back to his hometown of Boise, where he will retire from active duty. After having to leave my previous job at Infant Toddler due to our move, I found Parents as Teachers, where I was able to be a Parent Educator and serve families in Canyon County. My passion for working with families grew, and I developed a greater love for working with parents exactly where they are and empowering them to see their own ability to be the best parent they can be for their child.
When I am not working, you will find me on the sideline at my son’s soccer games or in the stands watching my daughter at her gymnastics meets. Occasionally, we make it out into nature for some light hiking, paddle boarding, walking our mini goldendoodle Millie, or relaxing at home.
I look forward to joining A New Beginning as a Homebuilders Therapist, where I can take all that I have learned so far and continue to make an impact in the community.
