Cara has been a dedicated team member at A New Beginning Adoption Agency since 2008. A licensed social worker, she earned her degree in Social Work from Boise State University and has spent her career supporting and empowering families through the adoption journey.
With a deep passion for family-building, Cara has played a key role in developing the agency’s infant adoption training curriculum and has led the community-based Adoption 101 classes for more than 15 years. She has worked closely with women across Idaho experiencing crisis pregnancies, offering compassionate guidance, resources, and support in exploring their options and creating adoption plans when chosen.
Cara has also contributed to statewide efforts to educate the public and improve adoption-related policies and practices in Idaho. In recognition of her impact, she was honored as a KTVB 7’s
Hero.
Outside of work, Cara finds joy in her family life as a proud mother of two daughters. She enjoys gardening, reading, and playing pickleball. She also serves on the board of an organization dedicated to supporting children and youth living with Type 1 diabetes.
