Amber has been with A New Beginning Adoption Agency since 2013. She completed her Social Work Senior Practicum at ANB working with birth parents, adoptive families, and children adopted domestically as infants, internationally, and through the foster care system. She graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. Amber has always felt a magnetic pull to work in the adoption field, for many personal reasons, and feels this is where her passion for adoption stems from.
Amber is the Foster-Adopt Program Coordinator and advocates for foster-adopt families as they search nationwide for their child and aims to support families post-placement and post-adoption. Amber has a true passion for working with families during this intimate process of growing their family. She is a passionate advocate for adoptive families, their children and enjoys helping support them as a whole unit as they go through their adoption journey. Amber teaches a portion of the required Foster-Adopt training, continuing Adoption Preparation Classes and co-facilitates the monthly Foster-Adopt Support Group at A New Beginning.
Amber describes herself as loyal, empathetic, hard-working and family oriented. Amber’s personal loves include live music, reading a good book or listening on Audible, Podcasts, camping, a binge worthy streaming series, and spending time with her family.
Amber looks forward to getting to know you and walking along side you during this journey.
