Frequently Asked Adoption Questions
I'm pregnant, where can I get help?
When should I make an adoption plan?
I want the birth father involved in the process, is that okay?
Absolutely. You’re welcome to involve the birth father if you choose. We’ll walk you through applicable laws and support you both every step of the way, if that’s the path you want.
Can I pick an adoptive family?
Yes! Choosing the right adoptive family for you is an important decision. All families have completed a home study and meet all of our adoption requirements. Support is provided to help you identify the qualities in a family that matters most, and walk you through selecting a family you feel confident and comfortable with.
Is financial assistance available during the pregnancy?
What if I want an open adoption?
Yes! Your adoption plan is completely yours. You can choose an open, semi-open, or closed relationship with the adoptive family. Open adoption can include ongoing contact, limited communication, or anything in between. If you’re interested in open adoption, support is provided to help you review families who are open to this option and to mediate the relationship as needed.
