My name is Jenna Pearl and I was adopted from Nanjing, China when I was 9 months old. A recent graduate from Idaho Fine Arts, I’m currently attending College of Western Idaho and persuing my Social Work degree. As the Cultural Ambassador at A New Beginning, my job is to help families understand transcultural families, find resources about a variety of cultural events in the area and abroad and help develop a better understanding and appreciation of the many backgrounds around us. I also continue sharing my own adoption story with families who are considering transracial and transcultural adoption.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, going on hikes, drawing and painting. While I have my own adoption story, I truly have a passion for adoption.
