Hello! We’re Shawn and Amanda. We want you to know that we really admire your strength, courage and love for your choice to make an adoption plan. We look forward to the opportunity to get to know you.
Here are some things about us that we want you to know:
- We’ve been together since 2010, happily married since 2015
- We love God, family and all things outdoors
- Shawn loves to tell stories and Amanda loves to laugh
- We live in the Treasure Valley
- We work hard and like to have fun; Shawn works outside at an auto salvage yard and Amanda is a Registered Nurse
- We have two very spoiled dogs, Calvin (a red heeler) & Ruger (a border collie)
We have not experienced what you’re going through but we do understand a lot of the emotions you must be feeling. We’ve been through trials ourselves and we feel like we’ve been called to adoption; Everything happens for a reason, in God’s time. We are blessed to be surrounded by supportive family, and friends who are just as good as family, that are excited to see us become mom and dad.
