It’s nice to meet you. We are Ray and Edmund. We want to start by thanking you for taking the time to review our profile. We can’t begin to imagine all the thoughts that must be running through your mind during this time. We extend all our love, respect, and warmth to you as you make your adoption plan and prepare for one of life’s biggest journeys.
We met over seven years ago and have been married for the past six years. Our mantra as a couple is, “we always do the most fun things together.” No matter how mundane or odd the activity, we love doing things together because it creates new memories. It may sound silly, but it’s true. Being together is what matters most, and we hope to be so lucky as to grow our family by welcoming not only a child, but also welcoming a network of birthparents, birthgrandparents, and birthsiblings.
We both come from large families where we were raised with many siblings, plus a close extended family full of grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Ray was raised in Mississippi, and Edmund is from New Jersey, where we currently live. You’ll often find Ray in the kitchen, Edmund in the art studio, and both of us in the garden. Our home is tucked away in the woods surrounded by a stream, where we love sitting outside with our two senior dogs, Caillou and Roxie, enjoying the peaceful sounds of nature all around us.
Our goal is to provide a loving home for a child filled with laughter, silliness, self-expression, and occasional tears of joy. We look forward to nurturing values of kindness, respect, hard workmanship, and love. We have prepared ourselves to provide the best possible life for a child, and we look forward to welcoming a child into our love-filled life.
