Unexpected Pregnancy Happens.

Are you pregnant and not sure what to do? A New Beginning cares about you and your baby. We are here to help you understand your unplanned pregnancy options in a safe, non-judgemental and comfortable environment. Whether you decide to parent or make an adoption plan, it’s important to make an educated decision about your pregnancy. We have approximately 50 families at any given time for you to choose from, and the choice is 100% yours. You’ll experience a roller-coaster of emotions, make difficult decisions, and complete a legal process. In other words, this is one of the bravest decisions you’ll ever make. A New Beginning has Licensed Counselors and Adoption Specialists available to help you every step of the way.

We provide each of our birth mothers (birth mothers are women who have created an adoption plan for their babies/children) with profiles of pre-approved adoptive families from which you can select as a home for your baby.  Approved adoptive parents have been through a rigorous background check, extensive training, understand open-adoption and have a completed and approved home study. An adoption attorney will handle all of your legal requirements.  Above all, we never want you to feel alone.  From your first contact with us you will be treated with the respect you deserve.  Feel free to visit our commonly asked questions page.

A New Beginning’s Birth Mother Mentors are birth mothers who have been through the adoption journey, they understand how difficult an unplanned pregnancy can be, the weight of all the decisions and planning for the birth of your child. None of them will say “making an adoption plan is easy…” It’s not. Each of the mentors have received mentor training and work directly with you and your adoption team. They are your strongest advocate. If you haven’t been connected to a Birth Mother Mentor, let us help you.

I’m Lauren and I’m now 32 years old. I made an adoption plan for my son in 2017 and chose the open adoption path.
I enjoy spending time with him and his adoptive family.

Watching him grow is a wonderful gift and I am forever grateful!
I believe it is my calling to support my fellow birth mothers. I love public speaking, my
two dogs and tending to my houseplants. When I’m not jamming out to the Hamilton
soundtrack you can find me hiking with my pups or volunteering
with youth in the Gem County community.”

My name is Meghan, I’m 22 years old, and I have been a birth mom for six years. I have been working as a mentor with the agency since I placed and am passionate about sharing my story and helping others. I am a graduate from Boise State University and am currently applying to law school. I currently work as a makeup artist at MAC Cosmetics and love it! My passions include paddle boarding, hiking, and animals.

Birth Mother & Mentor

My name is Hannah and my girl that I placed for adoption is almost 7 years old. Her family and I have a beautiful, open relationship and I am so blessed by it. I graduated with an RN degree in May 2022, I play guitar, do pastel art, and love outdoor activities. The reason I am a mentor and am passionate about it is because I want to support and help other girls get through what I went through. I want them to know that they are not alone, are worth being loved, and that they are displaying such strength, courage, and selfless love through adoption.

His family and I are incredibly close and have a relationship I could have never imagined for my son or myself. I love to fish, camp, read and spend time with my 2 dogs, and my fiancé. I want to become a mentor so I can help and support other young women during the placement like I did. I want you to feel that you are never alone, and that you are such a strong and courageous woman with so much ahead of you.

Pregnancy Services explained

Financial Support

We can assist with living expenses, medical expenses, food and help with transportation getting to and from your doctor’s appointments. Each situation is different and we’ll work together to determine which services will best suit your personal situation.

Medical Expenses

Your health and your baby’s health is very important.  If you do not have a doctor, we will help you locate a doctor.  In some areas we are able to provide transportation to your medical appointments.  If you are without insurance, we will help secure Pregnancy Medicaid assistance  or we will cover medical expenses when you complete your adoption.

Living Expenses

Living expenses could include, but not limited to food, gas, utilities and cell phone bills.  Each person has different needs so together we’ll assess how we can be most helpful for a healthy pregnancy and a healthy you.

Legal Support

A New Beginning can partner with any attorney or we can help you find one who is available to navigate the legal requirements and process related to your unplanned pregnancy.  We have recommended attorneys who will advocate for your rights and your situation separate from the adoptive families.

Each of our families have been through an adoption training program that addresses parenting and adopting a child, potential special needs, blending their families and maintaining a relationship with the birth family.

When it’s time for you to have your baby, your adoption specialist will be on call to meet you at the hospital for the birth of your child. She is there for you for the planning of the hospital experience to the delivery and discharge from the hosptial.  Her support and guidance will continue afterwards as well.
