Talk with one of our birth mother’s who have been through the adoption experience~ YOU ARE NEVER ALONE.
I’m Lauren and now 30 years old. I made an adoption plan for my son three years ago. I believe it is my calling to support my birth mother sistas! I love public speaking, my corgi and tending to my houseplants. When I’m not jamming out to the Hamilton soundtrack you can find me shopping for an absurd amount of candles or volunteering with youth in the Gem County community.
Hello Sunshine! I’m Jami, I’m 25 and have 2 birth children. Oakley is 3 and I placed with my mom. Olive is 2 and I placed her with a wonderful family. I am a cat lover, pineapple fanatic, hilarious optimist and adventurist! Mentoring for me is something I want to do to show that you are not alone in the process and whatever you may need, whether it’s a corny Dad Joke or a listening ear, I’m here! My words of wisdom for you are, “Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.” Remember that going through life as well as this process, take every little moment in and soak it up!
My names Meghan, I’m 21 years old, and I have been a birth mom for 4 and 1/2 years. I’m a senior at Boise State. I love paddle boarding and hiking, and I am a huge dog person! I also consider myself a pasta connoisseur. Let’s chat over some spaghetti!
My name is Hannah and my girl that I placed for adoption is now 5 years old. Her family and I have a beautiful relationship and I am so blessed by it. I am in nursing school, play guitar, do pastel art, and love outdoor activities. I want to be a mentor in order to support and help other girls get through what I went through. I want them to know that they are not alone and that they are displaying such strength, courage, and selfless love through adoption.
Hello! My name is Gracie, and I am 22 years old with one birth son. My son whom I placed is now 7 years old. His family and I are incredibly close and have a relationship I could have never imagined for my son or myself. I love to fish, camp, read and spend time with my 2 dogs, and my fiancé. I want to become a mentor so I can help and support other young women during the placement like I did. I want you to feel that you are never alone, and that you are such a strong and courageous woman with so much ahead of you.
