We are searching for an Administrative Assistant / Office Manager

A New Beginning Adoption Agency is looking for a well-organized and detailed oriented administrative assistant/office manager for the Boise office.  As our services to family and children grow, so do the needs and positions within our agency.   This is an essential position with high and frequent contact with families, other professionals in our field and every department in the organization which includes social work, contract social workers across the state, marketing and administration.    Proficient administrative and organizational skills are a must as well as being detail-oriented and ability to problem solve, even in emotionally charged situations.  The administrative position is an onsite position (it is NOT REMOTE). The administrative assistance will ensure important and deadline driven paperwork is completed, document data, update required registries, process accounts payables and receivables, manage phone system, proprietary forms, office equipment and supplies and postage and problem solve and update services such as internet, email system and proprietary database system.  This position will also assist the Executive Director with new employee hire paperwork and file maintenance, play a key role in annual licensing audits and communication.   We are especially looking for someone who is passionate about family and children, interested in longevity and can be part of a fantastic team, self-manager and complete tasks on time.  This is a fast moving position with a lot of change, most tasks are high priority and work is sensitive and confidential.

Job Qualifications 

  • 3 + years of office/administrative experience

Who is A New Beginning?  A New Beginning was established in 2004 as a full-service, non-profit adoption agency in Idaho.  We provide free & confidential pregnancy services to expectant mothers making adoption plans.  A New Beginning also provides a domestic infant adoption program, a foster-adopt program working with all 50 states, international adoption and private adoption services.  Our services also includes parenting trainings, post-adoption support, peer-mentorships, support groups, a surrogacy program, a trauma-based wellness center with a licensed professional counselor and TBRI practitioner with plans to open a youth center for underserved youth in Idaho.   A New Beginning is where hope begins, where families grow and healthy relationships learn and thrive.
