Thank you for taking the time to read about us. The first thing we’d like to say is that we have prayed for you. Regardless of if you choose us, we have prayed for you. The decisions you’ve had to make and the steps you are taking are brave, selfless, and clearly fueled by love. You are courageous and you are loved!
We realize a few short paragraphs won’t give you as much about us as I’m sure would be helpful, but we think the most important things for you to know about us is that there is a lot of love between us in our marriage, our home is safe, and we promise to provide a future filled with grace and love for this child.
Our desire for an adoption plan is not just to welcome a little baby into our home, but to open and share our lives with you and you with us. We realize that there will be ups and downs with that journey, but our heart is to welcome you to our family if you want that.
We have 2 dogs, Bama and Titus, who love kids. We are very active and love to spend our time outdoors. Katie works as the Children’s Ministry Director at our Church and Chris works in finance for our local city. Both of us serve in the Children’s Ministry at our Church every Sunday. Chris leads fifth grade boys and Katie works with kids from birth up to third grade. We love kids and can’t wait to be parents. We intend to raise our future children to join in all our outdoor adventures hiking, kayaking, paddleboarding, camping, and so on. We also love to go bowling. We are both very social and spend lots of time with family and friends. Most of our weekends are spent sharing meals with family or friends, walking the dogs, and being active any way we can.
We see it as a privilege to raise children and we plan to be intentional in everything we do to make a child feel seen, known, and loved.
