Amy graduated from Northwest Nazarene University in 2018 where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work. She joined A New Beginning as an adoption specialist, primarily supporting families through the home study process. She has been an essential part of the infant team, foster-adoption team, international adoption team as well as social investigations and working with families through our contracts with the Department of Health & Welfare and Sequel Youth & Family Services in Mountain home. Amy also helped launch the Youth Adoptee Support Group, YANA and supervisors the peer mentors and bi-monthly group. Her recent certification as a Peert Support Specialist also allows her to work one-on-one with youth in the group. She is considered a resident adoption expert, well-rounded and absolutely passionate about bringing families together and supporting their transitions.
When Amy is not working she is pursuing her Masters degree in Social Work at Northwest Nazarene Univerity, quilting, spending time with Milley her labradoodle, or enjoying the beauty of Idaho’s lakes.
