Personal Profile

I more or less fell into adoption work through a close friend of mine. It has been the best thing I’ve ever done! I have been working in the field of adoption for 8+ years and have greatly enjoyed helping many amazing families create their ‘forever families’ through the miracle of adoption.

Professional Background

I graduated from Northwest Nazarene University in 1993 with a degree in Social Work. I have worked in several different arenas within social work, including medical social work, child protection services, juvenile corrections, and currently adoption social work. My work with children and adoptive families has been very rewarding both personally and professionally.

On a personal note, I am married to a wonderful guy and together we have four children. I enjoy being a Mom and spending time with my family! In my spare time I love reading, shopping, and traveling. I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of A New Beginning and hope to be able to assist many more families on their unique journey of adoption!
