Personal Profile
I believe adoption is such a wonderful experience and I love working with families as they begin their own special journey.
Adoption is a very important part of my life as I was adopted. My younger brother and grandfather were also adopted. While I was growing up, there was always an open dialogue about adoption and I have been very fortunate to have a special relationship with my birthmother.
My husband Brad and I have two adorable children who keep smiles on our faces. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, camping, hiking, running, and walking our two dogs.
Professional Background
I graduated from the University of Nebraska with my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and earned my Masters in Social work from the University of South Carolina. In my second year, I completed my field placement at the Department of Social Services Adoption Unit.
I was so comfortable in my role working with the adoptive families and felt like it was a natural fit based upon my background. I have been working as a Licensed Master level social worker in adoption for five years now, primarily with family and special needs adoptions. I believe adoption is such a wonderful experience and I love working with families as they begin their own special journey.
Personal Profile
Adoption was a big part of my childhood as my best friend was adopted. For the past 17 years I have been blessed with the opportunity to be an adoption specialist. On numerous occasions I have been stopped in my tracks with the ongoing miracles which occur in adoption and feel fortunate to have been seated on the front row and watch divine intervention unfold before me.
Professional Background
I graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelors of Science in Social Work.
